It’s definitely for real! Ivy Blue Carter was born to proud parents, Beyonce and Shawn Carter a.k.a. Jay-Z, via c-section in New York yesterday! Last August at the MTV’s Video Music Awards, Beyonce made a public statement of her pregnancy that kept legion of fans waiting for her date with the stork.
Jay-Z was beside his famous wife when she gave birth at the hospital. Well wishers continue to pour; among them was Rihanna’s congratulatory note, “Welcome to the world Princess Carter! Love Aunty Rih.” Russell Simmons likewise tweeted, “Congrats to my good friends Beyonce and Jay-Z.”
Last month, Twiitter even came up with a better name suggestion of Tiana May Carter for the celebrity baby. Although, inconsistent reports say the baby’s actual name is Blue Ivy Carter, the famous celebrity couple seemed too happy to care. Paging Beyonce and Jay-Z to clarify the report!
